At The Woodlands® Resort, cherished pets are part of the experience. Our dog-friendly resort welcomes four-legged guests with thoughtful touches designed just for them—from outdoor dining on the Back Table Kitchen & Bar terrace to scenic walks and nearby dog parks perfect for playtime.

Our Pet Friendly Policy

  • At the time of check-in, you will be asked to fill out and sign our dog policy agreement.
  • Upon booking your reservation, we request you inform us of your plans to arrive with your dog at our hotel.
  • The pet size weight restriction is 40 pounds for a single dog. If your pet exceeds this weight, we will not be able to welcome them to the resort. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per room.
  • A pet policy letter will be presented at the time of check-in, and a non-refundable one-time fee of $100 will be imposed up to 4 nights.
  • An additional $100 deep-cleaning fee will be charged for stays from 5 to 15 days.
  • Pets should have all recommended vaccinations up to date, and you agree to obtain and provide current records from a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet should The Woodlands® Resort request this information from you at any time.
  • Pets should be on a leash or in a crate at all times in public spaces in the hotel or on property.
  • Pets should be supervised at all times while in the resort or on property. We can provide a list of local pet-sitting services which can be arranged for you through the resort’s concierge. Since The Woodlands® Resort does not provide these services, we cannot be held responsible for any pet service engaged by you.
  • A $20 per hour “time out” fee is assessed by The Woodlands® Resort if a pet is left unattended and needs to be removed from a guest room.
  • Guests should display the special Resort Pet “Do Not Disturb” sign to alert housekeeping that a pet is in residence.
  • Pets are not allowed in the food and beverages areas, the fitness center, near any of the pools, indoor meeting and function spaces, or on any of the golf courses.
  • Guests are responsible for pet waste cleanup inside the resort and throughout the property grounds.
  • Guests are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their pet(s).
  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Woodlands® Resort, the hotel, its operators and owners, and their respective affiliates from liability and/or damage suffered as a result of their pet.
  • Breed restrictions will apply and include:
    1. Rottweiler
    2. Doberman Pinscher
    3. Chow Chow
    4. Akita
    5. Pit Bull
  • The Woodlands® Resort reserves the right to remove guests whose pets are deemed noisy or disruptive.
